Our Connected Health Leadership Summit in Belfast (May 6th & 7th) brings togther major commercial players, clinicians, researchers and policy makers - all intent on the task of delivering a Connected Health Manifesto.
The Manifesto will provide the framework for our projects and priorities over the next 2 years. The 4 primary themes are Governance, Engagement, Procurement and Implementation - and across all of these we will also identify a range of research objectives.
Leadership presentations and the break-out 'work-stream' sessions are being led by speakers from across the USA and Finland, Belgium, England, Denmark, Ireland, Germany Spain, France and Northern Ireland.
Speakers from major companies such as Bayer, Bosch, CA, Cisco and Intel and the leaders of several Connected Health organisations and research institutes will address the challenges of escalating healthcare costs, rising citizen expectations and the local access infrastructure investment needed to enable networked technologies to be more-fully utilised as part of new healthcare practice, community cohesion and well-being.
